A classic architectural design that will protect your posts from rain or sun for years to come. For strength and to insure a smooth edge, the sides are hemmed and the corners sealed. The hot dip galvanization process creates a thick coat of zinc to "self-heal" these caps from minor scratches to prevent rust. Galvanized steel is also a popular material choice because there is no risk of staining to the surrounding wood from water run off.

Just what I needed
Just what I was looking for. Delivered as described, nice quality workmanship, and good value.
I looked everywhere for a simple, well made post cap and was delighted to discover these. They're exactly what I was hoping for. 10/10, have recommended to multiple people already.
I bought some galvanized 6” post caps a couple years ago and I just bought a bunch more 3.5”. They are exactly what I wanted. The ones from a couple years ago are holding up flawlessly! No regrets and will buy some more once my fence gets closer to finish
The quality of these caps is second to non and all but guarantees to seal the top of our arbor posts so they don't rot out over time. This particular size 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" must have been in stock as they shipped ultra fast. The packaging was fantastic and I received them within 2 days of them being shipped.
