• Zinc Coating "heals" damage from minor scratches to prevent rust
• 1/2" Hemmed sides
• Easy to install using a construction adhesive or simple calk 

A simple yet stylish design that will protect your posts for years to come. For strength and to insure a smooth edge, the 1/2" sides are hemmed and the corners sealed. The hot dip galvanization process creates a thick coat of zinc to "self-heal" these caps from minor scratches to prevent rust. Galvanized steel is also a popular material choice because there is no risk of staining to the surrounding wood from water run off. 

Once you receive your order please open you package right away and check it for shipping damage. If necessary contact us to begin processing the claim and replace the damaged post cap as soon as possible. The best way to handle post caps during installation is by wearing clean gloves. It is recommended to use a construction adhesive such as Liquid Nails. Apply a dot of glue in each corner of the cap before pressing it onto the post.
