Custom Galvanized Post Cap
Select the correct size range of the largest dimension from the drop down list. Provide the EXACT size of the post(s) in the comments box in the shopping cart, and we will add 1/16" on the inside for proper fit. Example: 5 7/16" x 5 5/8"

- Fabricated from G90 Galvanized Steel
- Zinc Coating "heals" damage from minor scratches to prevent rust
- Hemmed sides to create smooth edge
- Easy to install using a construction adhesive or simple calk
A classic architectural design that will protect your posts from rain or sun for years to come. For strength and to insure a smooth edge, the sides are hemmed and the corners sealed. The hot dip galvanization process creates a thick coat of zinc to "self-heal" these caps from minor scratches to prevent rust. Galvanized steel is also a popular material choice because there is no risk of staining to the surrounding wood from water run off.

I used these caps for my interior stair renovation. I looked and looked for a good match for my stainless tube balusters and the galv. finish on these caps is really close so they are a great match.
There is a little bit of a seam on the corners but they dont appear to be enough to cut your hand so all is good.
